A Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software diagnostic monitoring routine contains a software error. Normal vehicle operation requires the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) to illuminate when the fueling adaption values are between 0.07% to 0.08% and -0.07% to -0.08% and a Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) (DTC) is set. With the software error present, the MIL will not illuminate as required. Vehicles will be corrected with a PCM software update. . What will Land Rover and your authorized Land Rover retailer do? Land Rover is carrying out a recall of these vehicles to have the fuel outlet flange replaced with a component of revised design. However, we currently do not have an adequate supply of the necessary parts. There will be no charge to owners for this action under this Program. What should you do? Once we have adequate supply of the necessary parts, we will notify you via a second letter requesting that you contact your preferred authorized Land Rover retailer and provide them with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and request a service date to complete the work required under Program Code ‘N623’. What if I have previously paid for this concern? If you have already paid for this concern Land Rover is offering a refund.
