SUMMARY:
Jaguar Land Rover
North America, LLC (Jaguar
) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Jaguar
XF vehicles manufactured May 16, 2012, to June 15, 2015 and equipped with 2.0L GTDi engines.
The retaining bolt for the Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) idler pulley on the engine may fail resulting in a loss of power steering assist.
CONSEQUENCE:
A loss of power steering assist may increase the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the FEAD pulley assembly, free of charge.
Owners were sent interim notifications on May 28, 2016.
Owners will receive a second notification when remedy parts become available.
